Best Way to Contact Guests
by: Ted

I usually created a list of about 30 people because 5 to 7 end up as no shows. It is always best to keep to a smaller group so that you can co-mingle with them, which is the purpose. This is part of a realtion building concept.

I also tried to keep the dinner to about 1 hour and 15 minutes so people could get back home and if they hired a baby sitter it would not cost them a lot of money. Don't drag it out.

I would then send out a letter. Make it special.

"Mr and Mrs client, As a very special client to me, and as I told you when you started your program with me, we would have special information seminars to help you gain knowledge about saving money, estate planning, education, wills and trusts, etc.

We are having the following appreciation dinner to talk about Retirement planning on the following date at the following location and at teh following time. I will be personally calling
you to invite you to attend or you may contact me at 555-5555. We pnly have room for about 25 people and hope you will be able to attend.

I would also include an agenda so they can see the time line and items on the agenda.

Hope this helps...
