I joined insurence industry thru maxlife in oct 17 . As a process i got to know exploitions. We are gathered we pay we write exam we give time effort money hopes depend on it but at last dont get proper training skills market knowledge data support from companies to turn into business make income earn livelihood.we are promised salry we dont get. Other false promises are done. We are sufferers. Loosers.we are left unguided. False practises are done in our name. Every wrong is blamed on our name. When i didnt knew much i had to raise these issues for all agents like me. Its story of patna .

Joining the wrong agency or company.

Sadly, many insurance agents join the wrong type of insurance agency when they first start out. It sounds to me like you joined up with a brokerage agency. Brokerage companies only provide products to sell and they usually only hire experienced agents. The person/manager who hired you did a dis-service to you, since it sounds like you had no prior experience.

New insurance agents should always join a captive company or a agency that specializes in selling their own products and not an agency or a company that sells for a number of different companies.

One needs to asks questions when being recruited. Questions like: who does your training? Show me your written training program? Who will train me in the field? Exactly how do I get paid? Is there a training allowance and if so, how does that work? Who trains me on how to get leads?

With the right company or the right manager. the insurance business is a great business to be in, but it takes time to build your block of business.
