Referred Leads - How to contact
by: Ted

Michael;

I understand that you did find an on-line service since our last conversation. Here is some further thoughts,

If there are there no phone books? I would ask your manager for some assistance on this question.

Next, I would contact the local phone service company and see if they provide some type of phone book or service to provide address's or look to the internet for a service that can help you with that. When I got the names from people, many times they only had the phone number and I just cross referenced that with one of those reverse phone number websites or went to the local phone book.

Also, it is important to tell these people who give you the leads to make sure to tell these friends that they recommended, that you will be calling or contacting them and to be expecting a call from you.

If you can't find the address. I would just call the referral and say something like:

"Hi, my name is Micheal. How are you today. The reason for my call is I had the opportunity to visit with a mutual friend of ours, client John Doe, about some ideas pertaining to Financial security, Mortgage protection, etc. He "Referrers name" asked me to give you a courtesy call to see if I can sit down and share some ideas with you, like I did with him and if nothing more, the opportunity to meet you.

Are daytime or evenings best. Then is Mon or Wed best. Remember, always give a choice.

Then get their address and send signed card out with confirmation time of appointment.

Use any variation of this idea to fit your situation.. Let me know how it works out.

Ted
